Linking line colour and line type to a specific layer

Hi guys, I am wondering if there is a way to link line types and colours to layers. I am using a Temp layer where I keep all my construction lines (not the ones AC automatically displays), so I am wondering if AC can default automatically to a specific line type and colour when I select that layer.

Any help will be greatly appreciate.

No.
There aren't any 'by-layer' settings like AutoCAD.
Setting up favourites is the closest you will get.
