Merging DWG to create a GDL

I merged a DWG drawing that I wanna create a GDL from.
The drawing have a multiple lines and layers with different colors.
I select all the lines and than changed to a single layer and pen, but occurs that some of this lines didn't changed this way, than I have to go line by line changin it.
Why is that happening??
Shouldn't it change automatically?

Not all lines might have been with the same line tool. You should be changing things using the Edit Selection Set command.

This will only let you later create a 2D GDL object. To create 3D GDL from a dwg, you must open the dwg as an object.

Cheers,.

It is also possible that the layer that SOME items are on is LOCKED... your first step might be to UNLOCK ALL LAYERS.

Guessing again...
