Problems with Archicad 18

Apart from the general slowness of Archicad 18, there is also issue with migrating from 17, and hotlink updating.

To migrate a large project from AC 17 to 18, I had to leave the computer on all night, so much time it needed

And now that I finally managed to migrate, when I try to update a hotlink file, it also takes forever, forcing me to force quit Archicad because I never see the end of the updating process!

We are not aware of a general slowdown with the migration process or the hotlink update time.
Could you send me (in pm) your files so we can test this issue here?
