I just realized that it sometimes takes 4-5 purges in the attribute manager to get everything purged that can actually be purged. Does anyone understand why this is so? I have never read anything that said that purge may need to be repeated several times to actually get the job done.

As far as I can work out it is because as some attributes are purged it then frees up other attributes to be purged. So if a Building Material is purged this then frees up certain Surfaces that can be purged in the second round, this then in turn frees up Fill Types that can then be purged in a third round and so on.

Yes - that is my assumption as well - One would think that this would happen in the background when we press the purge button... or there could be a note that pops up that says " hey guys and gals you might need to press purge 5 times in a row to really do a purge".
