Hi all,
Hopefully this is in the right place to ask but been having a particularly tricky time figuring out zones for feasibility/capacity studies on housing layouts and looked around the community site for advice to no avail. I am trying to find the best way of schedule information of zones in house type for output within feasibility studies and other projects within my office and came across a problem with differing storey floor areas. Example below.
How we do it currently is through a single zone with the base area multiplied by it's storey number (Measured area x a property field that we fill in manually). This is great as it avoids things like double counted zones on schedule totals and the finicky problems of multiple identical zone adding up their information totals weirdly, but relies on consistent house floor area across storeys. This needs multiple zones, which kinda breaks the original system we made to remove multiple identical zones and manual data inputs. Short example of what I need to achieve without multiple zones.
Any advice on creating a system/schedule that includes these outlining zones without needing to add multiple zones? It may be that I need to remake the whole system again to allow for this but I would like to avoid that possibility. I have attached screenshots to help explain kinda what I want to make but I may have explained this poorly. I am relatively new to ArchiCAD schedules so hopefully this gets the concern across.
Thanks,
Michael
