Strange Anomoly

I have been having a problem with ArchiCAD 8.1 R1 that someone may have a quick fix for:
When I build a model using the layer combinations feature, I have voids in wall lines and cannot close corners. This anomaly occurs whenever walls on one layer combination are directly above or below walls on other layer combinations. If I drag a wall corner away from its location to a "clean" spot, the corner will close, but not when I put it back in its correct location. Changing wall end line settings in the settings dialog has no effect on this problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Ensure that the Clean Wall & Beam Intersections is turned on.

Also, on the layer combination, ensure that the intersection number is set correctly in each layer combination.

For example, on the floor plan, if you want your exterior walls to intersect with the interior walls, ensure that the intersection number is the same of both, and if I recall, it must be something other than "1". Try setting them both to "2".

This must be done for each layer combination, such as electrical, plumbing, etc.

Grant,
I thank you, your suggestion worked like magic!
I have been using Archicad for about 7 years and have never run
across this problem.

Also remember that these numbers for the layers must be saved to the Layer Combination. Each Layer Combination can have a different combinaiton to the layer numbers.

I first thought these numbers were set for the layer, but in fact they must be saved to the layer set which uses them by updating the layset combination after making the change.

Just another reason to insure that you use layer combinations when setting up your drawing sets. Things like this could really mess up a drawing with Custom layers.
