Zone No Sets Found Error Message

Hi all,

I'm currently remaking the company template in Archicad 29 (we were on 27) and I'm running into an error with the zones. We use them for room names to calculate area, auto name the interior elevations and naming in section views. We also have zone on the site plan to auto-calculate site coverage with an expression in property manager.

Everything was working fine in 27 but I'm now having an issue where almost no matter what I do (change cover fill pen, zone name etc) I end up with this error.

I've tried updating zones, changing the construction method, turning zone stamps on/off, changing categories and zone stamps, I checked my walls have the same junction order, renovation status, are visible and are all joined properly.

I'm hoping I'm missing something really obvious but I would love some help 🙂

I just tried in 29 and I can do what ever I want to a zone and get no messages.

I see you have CITools installed.

I am wondering if you have some add-on loaded (CITools or another) that is trying to do something with your zones, like add them to a group or set.

I have never seen this message before.

Hi all,

thank you Katherine for posting this. I am having the very same issues after upgrading to 29. Hopefully we can get some help.

@Katherine_Neptune@Alessandro,

Could you guys post a screenshot that shows the context? What exactly do you guys do in Archicad, in which Viewpoint after which this error message appears?

Loving Archicad since 1995 - Find Archicad Tips at x.com/laszlonagy
AMD Ryzen9 5900X CPU, 64 GB RAM 3600 MHz, Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB, 500 GB NVMe SSD

I've tried in plan views, sections, 3D, and all the same thing.

This is the progression, all I've tried to change here is adding a floor plan contour line using the Info Box, and a second after I click to make the change the error box pops up. The change will be made if I click to close or click OK. And the same thing occurs if I go into the Tool settings box.

It happens no matter what change I make to the zone (the only thing that didn't generate an error was changing the Zone Area Calculation), even nudging the zone will make it pop up.

Thank you Barry! It was the CI Tools Fit Out add on that was causing the issue 🙂 We're not using it luckily so uninstalling it has sorted the issue
