hotspot not ghosting

Hi all,
I've been really enjoying AC now that I sort of get some of it, but recently inherited a fille from an ex-co-worker who was apparently Not. There are lots of weird things, of course, but I have been able to figure out most of them so far. But I'm stumped by this one: in my model, when I put a hotspot on one floor, and then ghost that floor in relation to another, I can see the greyed-out hotspot and align another one to it, on whatever layer is active. But with this inherited model, I can't make the hotspot appear on any story other than the one on which I place it...that is, it won't ghost. I don't know why...can't find a setting in Display Options, or in the Selection Settings dialogue, and it is on the AC layer, which is always active. I'm stumped! What do you think?
Thanks!!!

i think you need to look in the ghost storey settings (which are found in the 'storey settings' dialogue . . .)

glad you're enjoying it now!

the "workshop" is just that: where i mess around with things that are not a part of the building model: things i make into GDL objects, embedded photos, etc, etc . . . i put it 'underground' and out of the way. 20m is far enough for most domestic residential projects, donchathink?
