wall artifacts

I have a project where I have different wall panel options stored on different layers. the problem is that even though I only have one option layer turned on at a time, the wall objects on the other layers, which are off, are affecting the visible layer. I've tried changing the priority, but one of the options is always affected by the other, depending on which has a higher priority.

How can I make the different layers truly independent, where objects on one don't interact with another?

Hi Svenl,

Are you talking about panels' priority or the priority of the layers ? (in that case, that would be the "intersection group number")
Basically, if two layers have different intersection group numbers, the objects placed on them won't interact with each other. Please see the following thread for a screenshot http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=140107&highlight=layer+number#140107

Hope that helps.

Yes! Thank you. I knew it would be something obvious like that.
