wall section as hotlink

Can I make a wall section into a hotlink to use in another file as an underlay?
We don't want to have the wall sections in our teamwork file, but we need underlays that can be updated for reference.

You can only hotlink floor plan data. You would have to save the section as a module (or place it in the floor plan of a PLN) and then hotlink the module (or PLN story.)

You can save a non-drawing section as a module, but it will be turned into a drawing in the module.

You can also automate the process with Publisher. The section becoming a drawing in the process should present no problem since it can always be updated, and I assume that there would be no intention to use this as a way to edit the model.
