First time user / Template needed

Hello,

We have recently purchased the ARCHICAD licenses in our office, and are planning to generally switch our whole system from AutoCAD to ARCHICAD during the upcoming months. In principle, we are about to launch our first project in ARCHICAD, and we’re looking for the best way to start.

The idea is to start off from a template file (apparently there is such a thing that comes with a licence if bought in UK), but we are located in Luxembourg and we're not sure how to get a hold of it..

Does anybody have any idea how/where should I search for that template file? Or any other recommendation on how to start off right in general? Since we'd like to avoid a possible mess inside the files once everybody in the office switches to ARCHICAD... Needless to say the majority would be using it for the first time.

Thank you so much in advance!

Best,

Ljiljana

Hi Ljiljana

We have template kits available at https://www.bim6x.com/solutions#bim6x-template-kits.

The BIM6x Starter Kit is free for ArchiCAD 18 and anyone downloading it will be eligible for a free upgrade to the AC19 version, which will then be priced at $99.

I recommend you download it to see what can be achieved with a powerful ArchiCAD template. It's customisable and as a full kit it comes with an example project, a BIM manual, work environments, and more.

Good luck on your ArchiCAD journey! You'll never look back.

Cheers,
