Ecodesigner - AC15 - planes of no loss

When modelling a property that is within a terrace and has party walls that are a plane of no loss, how should they be described in Ecodesigner?

Removed from the model or marked as interior structures?

Also (an easier question), the surface finish column describing whether it is light or dark - is that the internal surface or external?
