BIM Server\ Role settings\ "Hotlink Instances" Problem

Anonymous
Not applicable
Unchecking the "Hotlink Instances" from BIM server manager's "Role settings" doesn't play any role!

The users are still able to modify hotlinks in the project even after rejoining to teamwork file & even after restarting the BIM server & all computers in office.

Is there any way to keep locked the hotlinks of project for other users? Locking via layer or by reserving the selected hotlinks is not practical!

How about the "Hotlink - Manage" Access Right in the Role Settings Dialog of the BIM Server Manager?
Does that achieve what you want?

"Hotlink - Manage" is already unchecked & doesn't help

Did you user leave and then rejoin the project after modifying the Access Right?

From the Help file:
If the Administrator changes any role definition while a project is running, any user whose role has been affected by the changes must leave the project (then re-join it) in order for the role changes to take effect. (It is not enough for the user to be offline; he/she must leave the project.)

Yes. All users/computers have been rejoined/restarted.

Then I have no more ideas. It should work.
You should contact your local reseller with this problem.
