BIMclound was not able to reserve a license

Yesterday everything was fine with accessing the project on our BIM server, today it tells me:

"You are in offline mode, because the BIMcloud was not able to reserve a license. Please contact your administrator for further information."

I have had this problem a few weeks back when I installed AC, but this week everything was running smooth, untill today....

I have no problem working offline, which means it AC must get a license from our server, otherwise AC fails to start. Its just teamwork that doesn't work.

It seems as if AC thinks we have BIMClound, but we have BIM server.

Does anyone experience the same thing? I have written our local distributor of AC, which have contacted Graphisoft, but they don't seem to be able to help.

Thank you in advance.

Please try the followings, maybe one of them will help to resolve this situation:

- Open your BIM Server's web interface and navigate to modules, BIM Server Manager, Licenses. Here verify, that it is indicated as being activated.
- try connecting using a different BIM Server user - does this trigger the same error message?
- verify that you have the latest update installed (AC + BIM Server)

If non of these helps I recommend to start the BIM Server installer - this will recognize your current installation and run in repair mode. This process replaces all program files with the original version, while keeping all your BIM Server data intact. After this go again to the Licenses page to verify the server is activated; you might want to give another try to sign in with your GRAPHISOFT ID. After this apply the latest update.

Let us know the results,

Tried the first three suggestions, no luck. Then we did a repair installation of the BIM server, that solved it. Now everything seems to be working perfect again.

Thank you Marton!
