Back from Holidays and My Changes Didn't Sync to Teamwork Project

Hello everyone,

I'm facing an issue after returning from a period of leave (holidays) and need advice on, the reason of problem,  recovering from the situation and preventing it in the future.

The Scenario:
I was away from the project for a while. During my absence, other team members were working as normal. When I returned yesterday, I opened the Teamwork project, performed a "Receive All," and began working. I worked for the day, making changes, and send all the changes by the end of the day.

Today, we discovered that only some of the changes made over the last day were visible for the team (e.g. uploaded to the BIMCloud file). The rest of the changes exist only in my local ArchiCAD Teamwork file, the one that I see on my computer.

My Immediate Questions:

Cause: What could be the reason for such a desynchronization?

Recovery: What is the safest way to get my (not uploaded) changes into the main project without causing conflicts? Just copy/paste and try to remember what did I do yesterday?

Long-Term Question:

Prevention: This seems like a workflow/process failure.
What are the recommended best practices for starting work after a long absence? And what should be the mandatory daily routine for starting and ending a work session in Teamwork to absolutely prevent this from happening again?

We are looking for both a solution to this issue and a protocol or good practices to follow in the future. Any step-by-step guides or official resources on this specific "re-synchronization" scenario would be extremely helpful.

Thank you so much for your wisdom and assistance.

Best regards,
Hector

Our strategy to prevent this issue is to require users to leave the project before any extended absence — typically for periods longer than one week. When they return, they rejoin the project.
