Bimcloud is local, not SaaS. Ldap sync has been used for years, only after 2024 installation the problem appeared for some users. Few of them did not meet the password requirements, but even after they changed their passwords they are denied access.

Have you tried contacting Graphisoft about this? I am kind of stuck because as education institute I have to contact thru local reseller and for some reason the matter does not seem to go forward.

Oh, yes, of course. They had a look at all sorts of logs and suggested it is a problem with our LDAP setup. But nothing seems to be untoward there. LDAP logs show no problems (and you can log in with the same LDAP-account to the BIMcloud via the web interface, and the email and server connection are uninterrupted as well).
So, they found this thread just yesterday and said we are not alone, and maybe it needs more investigation on their side. They also suggested I have a look at this conversation as well, and maybe I find something here.

Hey guys, I've got an answer from the German Support, which was really helpfull (there is one single guy at German GS Support who is excellent). Here is his answer:
Hello Mr Wadlinger,
that does sound a bit unusual, but it could possibly have something to do with the way Archicad connects to the BIMcloud.
From Archicad 27 onwards, a so-called ‘modern or new authentication method’ is used in the case of BIMcloud Software as a Service; if you want to work with Archicad 26 and lower, you have to switch to the so-called ‘legacy authentication method’.
This means that there is a difference in the way Archicad 26 and lower and 27 and higher connect to the BIMcloud.
