I am working for a architectural firm who has a paid SAAS bimcloud / server. We have added me as a user as lead architect with full access. I have a archicad license. When trying to log into the bim server via browser or share a file via teamwork share I am unable to access the server. Thru the browser I get the following dialogue box: Is there a step I am missing? thankyou
Operating system used: Windows 23H2

Have you been assigned a BIMCloud SAAS licence? It is seperate as far as I know.

there's even a portable license workflow if you're accessing someone else's Saas:

Thanks for the information.
If I have a ArchiCAD license but not a SAAS license, can I still join the SAAS bimcloud hosted by another office if they send me an invite?
Doesn't seem that I should have to purchase an SAAS licence to do work on someone else's server. I am not storing any of my personal projects.
This seems to get more confusing every year! If the office I am contracting for sends me an invite, whos license am I using? Theirs? or mine?
Any other help would be great thanks.

if I understand correctly: when you don't have Saas license (or Archicad Collaborate license), the host must assign a license to you. If you have Saas/AC Collaborate license, you can set up yours to be "Portable license" and that will allow you to work on their server.

I do not have a SAAS license. If the host has to assign a license to me to work remotely. Does the host have to buy another license? Or is it some type of virtual license he assigns to me?
or is there a way to assign my license thru the invitation? Thanks

From the article I linked, it would seem that they would need to assign you a license. They would need as many licences as they expect there to be concurrent users. This is seperate from your AC license.

Indeed, as @Lingwisyer answered, the host company will need to invite you (through one of your email address) to their Saas license pool, then assign a license for you to work on their server. I guess you'll need to work with the host company to test it out
