Uploaded project file on bimcloud not visible in teamwork !

Hello! 

I couldn't find a similar topic here, and this problem appared recently.

When we try to upload a file on the bimcloud webpage

(we recently migrated all projects to archicad 28) it uploads it as usual but cannot be seen on the archicad teamwork join project (not visible, onl;y visible on the bimcloud webpage)

no error appears or anything that seems wrong, only the fact that the icon of the uploaded pln is not that little house ( looks like a blank file icon). Thank you!

Did you share the project or just simply uploaded the pln to BIMcloud? There is a big difference between the two - sharing the project means it becomes a Teamwork project where multiple users can work together, while uploading the pln to BIMcloud means storing a pln file on the BIMcloud server that can linked to projects more or less, but definitely not suitable for Teamwork.

If you uploaded the file, I suggest you simply share it from Archicad and it resolves your issue.

i just uploaded indeed. We did it similar somehow before. 

Can you tell me how exactly i do the share process? thank you so much!

You need to open the project in Archicad first, and then:

1. Go to Teamwork > Project > Share Teamwork project
2. There will be a pop up window with the BIMcloud folder hierarchy - you can select where to upload. Select a folder or keep it on the root folder.
3. Press the 'Share' button

It will take a bit of time to share the project (depending on the size of the pln), and once it is done, other members can find it on the server and join as well.

Thank you! It worked yes. I dont know why before, somehow, it worked by only uploading the project to the bimcloud whitout archicad.
