The team project I work on has 12K duplicate elements in its library. I attempted to delete duplicate by embedding them on the local library, and I believe the embedded elements were deleted from the cloud library (thus causing a coworker to turn into a bomb)
I believe my error was not to hit the box for duplicating the elements as they were embedded. Please see images and thank you for your feedback.
