we have one computer at the office (AC 26) that does not have any teamwork options available. The Teamwork menu is missing, and in work environment>menus "teamwork" menus is not an option. Also at File>Open there is no option open/join teamwork.

Could be that you loaded Oldier Archicad version work environment. Try some of default AC26 work environment and check if these buttons are still missing. Never use older environments on newer Archicad versions.
