unable to edit composites in teamwork file

I'm having an issue where I am unable to edit Composites. I am able to click Reserve in the Composite Structures dialog and the "Editable" icon shows up but all options to edit a composite (any composite) are still greyed out and uneditable. This occurs whether I reserve all particular elements of a model where the composites are used or not. We even tried having the other team member Release all and quit the program... still I am unable to edit composites even after being able to "reserve" them.

Our user settings are set to give everyone full access. I also tried listing my role as Lead Architect but still no change.

If anyone has any clue what could be going on we would be greatly appreciative!

I just ran into the same thing... I believe the kicker was to LEAVE THE PROJECT and sign back in after you made the change to LEAD ARCHITECT..

What Duane says may be the solution.
As far as I remember any change made to User roles will be applied only after leaving the project and rejoining it.
