3D TEXT FILL

How do I add fill to the surface for the text? ....

You should select a material for the 3D Text the material definition of which, as set in the material Dialog, includes a 3D hatch.

Thanks....but the 3D is showing the color RED when i change to use objects materials but it's not showing up in the section view.I'm puzzled as to why it's showing in the object box.

In the Section Settings Dialog, go to the Model Display panel.
The Fill Uncut Surfaces with field must be set to "Own Material Colors" for the surface color of the object to show in Section.
