I am stuck on some 3D rendering. I obtained a 2.5Mhz speed pc. However, it really still take some times to render a 3D picture. I noticed that there must be way to assign stand alone memory for Archicad from the system but i do not how.
Appreciate if any body can teach me about how to accelerate or reduce the time consume for rendering.
Thank you
Regards
Jason

Renderings take time; they are not instant.
Some factors that add time:
-- rendering size
-- the number of polygons in the model
-- the complexity of light (more lights, espeically shadow casting lights)
-- the quality method of the rendering
-- refraction in overlapping glass (especially)
ArchiCAD can address up to 2Gb of RAM.
