Hello, this is my second render in ArchiCAD + 3d max. I would like to hear your opinions about it. Render time: about 30 min...

I am "only" 16... I tried to experiment with colours
What do you think about quality of the image?

Since you are 16, you know you could do better. Give it some tweeks and post your results.

O.K., just things like the window, I haven't seen an over-exposure like that since the Bikini Atol. The chair is,... looking kinda uncomfortable - find another one. Fix the black wall section, and you could tone down the iPod red wall. Add a base board, since we are concentrating on the wall corner. Maybe sneak in a wall outlet for added detail. Be proud, working v-ray is a technical challenge. Tweek, render test, tweek, render test, etc.

Hey, don't listen to the old guys here. I think your image looks very good. Nice shadows, good chrome, good glass, and good rendering of the wooden floor. But if you try to reproduce it in the real world, you might find it hard to get wall paint with that intense red. Car paint, OK, but wall... But my son has tried to achieve something similar iin his room, black 'n all.

And the window looks burnt out/overexposed just like it would if you were using a camera with film. Very realistic, but perhaps not useful if you want to show the whole scene. In movies, they put an orange filter over the whole window pane. In rendering, we nee to use other tricks.

I think this is very good if it's your second attempt!

switch the "window light" to "not visible"!

"Tweeks" (or tweaks, if spelled correctly) = small adjustments

Actually this is a colloquial usage of an already colloquial word meaning "pinch." I would hate to be a non-native English speaker on this forum.
