Doors are still showing in 3D window even when the model view option is set to "show opening only". Is there a setting I'm missing?

HI,
I have tried, and i see that MVO only affects plan view.
To achieve your desired 3D view, you can temporarily disable 3D detail level for all doors, by selecting all of them, going to model attributes and turning it off.
I understand it is not as easy as doing it via MVO but I don't know if that is possible.

If you are using AC28, that setting is no longer available. It is supposely now in your MVO but I am not sure where, and being MVO, you would not be able to control it individually...

@MPHz24 has not said what version of Archicad they are using - this would help.
The MVO setting they refer to is only for the plan view.
In 28 there is no option to turn off the 3D in MVO that I can see (can only be simplistic at lowest level of detail), and the objects themselves no longer have the option to turn off the 3D model.
Graphisoft's solution is to use layers to hide, which is fine for objects, but doesn't work with doors and windows that belong to the wall layer.
In earlier versions, the objects have an "Off" 3D level of detail as CosminF showed.

You can hide it in Filter and Cut Elements in 3D Dialog Box

Good point.
And those filter settings are saved in the views.
But it is all or nothing, not object by object.

Try this workflow for turn off te door and the window:
Create a new design option and assign the door/window to this option
Now with different set option, can turn off the door/window

This is a good idea. The problem is that it only works in 3D views. Unfortunately, in the case of facades, sections and wall views, it is not possible to turn off the display of windows and doors in the views.
So this is only a half solution. š

Hi @Gabor Szelei,
Kindly, I like to know why you need to hide W/D in wall views & sections.
Thank you in advance.

Dear Mahmoud Qenawi
For example, if I want to depict wall views where there are no windows or doors in the drawing.
Or if I want to make a masonry plan or a a structural plan and I don't want the windows or doors to be visible.
