IMO your camera setup is creating to much distortion for the image. The point of view is too low it looks as if the "person" taking the photo is on its knees. Nice materails and contrast.

I quite like these images, they have a natural, spur-of-the-moment sort of feel to them, not overly artificially lit (sorry Dwight, I'm not thinking like a photographer). My only thought is that surely rooms with that much light streaming in the windows would be a bit brighter though.
Have I contradicted myself enough

Yes they have a nice feel to them but with the second image it looks to me more like a night-time view with a bright artificial light outside the window. Maybe that is the idea?? Sunlight at that low azimuth is very warm. As Stuart says there should be more ambient light to the rest of the space. Otherwise well done.
Reflections in the first image shouldn't be visible as in reality they are lost in the brightness of outside

I'm impressed with these images because they look so unlike conventional renderings. They are not about space so much as langorous, luminous light.

He really IS thinking like a photographer - just not a department store catalog photographer like me.

I think the radiosity here is energized to not decay normally - hence the illuminated surfaces even in shade.

Wonderful job. The bile of envy rises in my throat.
