Corona Add on Texture options

Hello,

I have been using the Corona add on recently within ArchiCAD, I love the results however I've been having issues with textures as Corona uses different ones from AC.

Ive managed to try create very basic textures but anything more than glass or simple surfaces is hard for me, I dont really know that much about it.

Does anyone else use Corona much and if so whats the best resources for downloading/buying textures or even something to suggest on learning how to make your own correctly too.

Thanks

I have not used Corona before, but from my experience with V-Ray, Scanline and Mental-Ray in 3DS-Max and CineRender in ArchiCAD, they all work with textures in the same way so if you find a tutorial on building a texture up with one renderer, you can bring across most of the main ideas.

Thanks Ling.

Do you happen to know any good resources for buying/subscribing to texture services?

Other than Arroway which I used during uni, I am not sure of any other good ones that come with a full set of channels. I have also used some of the free textures from CGTextures, which are ok but they do not come with channels. Not sure about their paid textures which come in substantially higher resolutions.

As far as I know, these groups supply textures in layers of which you will need to assemble yourself in your desired renderer.

Check out these textures, they are from 4K to 6K specially for Architecture. Look under the FAQ for answers if you want to use them with another Software then Cinerender. There is a free texture pack too which is no harm in trying out
