Datasmith plug-in not showing in Archicad 25

I have installed the newest version of the unreal datasmith exporter in order to link Archicad project to twinmotion. Datasmith is not showing in Archicad window palettes as it should. What can I do?

Which version have you installed (5.0.3 or 5.1)? If you installed from this page, it is the wrong one: https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/datasmith/plugins

You should be installing 5.0.3 from this page:

https://www.twinmotion.com/plugins/Archicad

This will probably change soon (a new TM preview version will be relased soon, so probably there'll be a new plugin as well), but for now please use the link from the twinmotion page and not the unreal one.

do you see the plugin in your addon manager? could you provide some screenshots?

Okay I was dumb, I forgot to close and then re-open the archicad file, now it has appeared

Hi Emre,

I am having an issue with the ADD-ON for AC28. It was working and now isn't (not loading at all). I have uninstalled and reloaded the ADD-ON along with AC itself with no success

The ADD-ON manager shows two versions that keeps reappearing even after I delete them, they show the following:

- The Add-On is already loaded.

and the other

- The file is an outdated Add-On that cannot be used with this Archicad version.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

it's been a while since I had to change any settings regarding this, so bear with me please. 

are you on mac or windows? could you share a screenshot showing the add-on manager dialog in archicad, with the datasmith plugin selected?

hey fraser. i would suggest going to this directory on finder and deleting any traces of the plugin, while making sure archicad is not running. then re install the plugin from fresh.
