Hi.
Have you tried to change the "Start paint mode" to "infinite"? That way you just click on the surface you want and click as many times you need to paint surfaces on your model.
Unless I do not understand what you need.

Yes, How do I get it infinite? That is what I am looking because I usually use the same material all over the place.

On the top part of the Surface Painter palette, long click on the paintbrush.
