Did you enter some examples for the second Exposé issue? Ox i am not ready for that i need more good results maybe next year

If you render out a Z-buffer pass, you can blur the image in Photoshop, using the greyscale depth-buffer as a mask. Can be tweaked almost in realtime and doesn't take (much) longer to render then without depth-of-field

i render wit ZDepth chanel yes and i make defocusing bluring ....... on COMBUTION;DigitalFusion od Lenscare but last one results is not good .(

I'll keep it in mind when I ever find the time to make the ArchiCAD -> max conversion tutorial.
Good Idea i use 3DS from version 3DS 4 DOS and i find that application GOOD one but HOUDINI is N1 after that coming MAYA and SOFTIMAGE

By the way (to all Architalkers): although these books contain a large bunch of "sci-fi robots and sensual women made by boys on hormones", there is a section of CG-architectural visualisation too and it is of high quality. I can recommend the books if you are into rendering & imaging.

A word of warning:

While most of the image shown here are excellent, their sheer SIZE is making the Forum very slow to use for the people on dialup connection.

From now on, PLEASE reduce the images to 640 pixels wide for posting. The rendering quality can be seen regardless of the size.

If you feel that your work is not properly represented by smaller images, please post a link to your Web site hosting the high res images.

i m agree with stefan. A presentation is more expressive when is make with atmosphere effects (fog,sparkle,depth of field. colors light distortion, lights
special effects like sun hallo - used in many games to make athmosphere with simple poly characters and backgrounds).
And the expresive architectural message is better than the descriptive only .
