Is there a proper tutorial on "Site insertion"?

I don't seem to get the hang of it... I have a model of ten houses I want to place correctly in a photograph where I know the focal lenght. I just don't understand what I should do myself and what's automated with the calibration button...
Best regards,

There have been a few threads about this. One recently.

The consensus seems to be to eyeball the camera position in ArchiCAD and then composite the rendering with the picture in Photoshop. Sometimes the old ways are still the best.

Art•Lantis 4.5, right? Just go through their tutorial.

You also need to know a position of at least one corner of your buidling(s) in the photo, and the height of at least one vertical object that appears in both the photo and the model.

It works.

Ahh, thanks Djordje! I'm a bit stupid but now I understand. So...for the next photo occasion I will bring a 1*1*1 m styrofoam cube to use as a reference. Most of the photos I use has no buildings at all since nothing is built yet. I understand why the examples from ArtLantis use of insertion point shows exclusively city objects...
