Is there a way to save my custom Sketch rendering settings?

Is there a way to save my custom Sketch rendering settings?

Its tedious to reset them every time I make a minor change, it would really be helpful to be able to save a few of my favorite custom settings but I haven't discovered a way to do it.

Is it possible?

If not, this sure seems like a good thing to add to future releases!

Some guys would say "Nothing to it."
But not me. There is something to it.

Here it is:

1: Locate the "SketchPreset.txt" file in SketchTextures folder in Visualization folder in Add-onz.
2: Open the file in a text editor.
3: See how the existing Presets are described.
4: Duplicate and rename a Preset.
5: Place new values in the new Preset.
It might not immediately appear in the preset list rendering dialog preset list.
I restared Archicad to make that happen.

I suggest making a series of dummy presets and edit them in the text file with Archicad open.

Make a wish for this and I will vote. It is ridiculous that we have no way (except the convoluted approach Dwight thankfully provided) to save out the styles we painstakingly develop.

I save a screen image of the sketch settings so I can access them later.

Sure, but with my method, you need merely copy the settings once into a new preset instead of repeatedly manually entering them.

Then the problem is merely remembering what you called it.

If you gang up on this with numerous dummy presets it can be pretty quick.

I think all the current rendering settings are saved when you make a new View in your View Set. It's not very useful for duplication, but does allow you to have several different rendering settings saved in different Views.

As I remember in every betatest since version 8.0 I insist to make a simple button to save custom settings for Sketch rendering...
