License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Lightworks windows colour or background in ArchiCAD 10

When I render usind Lightworks in ArchiCAD 10, windows sometimes render transparent and sometimes render the colour of the background - in the same view! Attached is elevation rendering - notice the window on the main floor left is transparent. Also attached is a perspective rendering with the same settings and all the windows are transparent. I have downloaded and installed all updates. Any and all suggestions welcome. I'm a old user of ArchiCAD (in every sense) but very new to 10.

Hello Tim! You aren't a geezer, yet! Bowen Island has power, again, then?
I'm not sure, but the white windows on the elevation view are more exposed to light than the subordinate window behind the porch.
If this ins't a glitch of some kind, I think it is reflected light.

Just to experiment, change your glass reflectivity - reduvce mirror factor and specular factors to 0.

BTW: Use a little "Undersun™" to eliminate those black soffits unless they are a new innovation in home design.

Thanks Dwight. I tried that and it made no difference. I guess ground floor windows should have rendered properly if it was a reflection issue as they are under a deck. Anyway, I guess it's a glitch! Do I have to reload the full meal deal (ArchiCAD 10) or can you suggest specific elements to reload? And yes, Bowen does have power, again, and I was only without phones for 2 weeks.

before you do, just make doubly sure those windows aren't using 'glass - white' whilst the one on the left using is 'glass - clear' . . .
