To still be picky....

I think the sun is still a bit strong and the shadow line is too sharp. The shadow should have a small diffused area as it transitions from shade to light.

I would also say the glass is too reflective. It looks like they are almost mirrors mounted in frames, not windows.

Sorry, but I liked the previous one more It had atmosphere. This one is more computer-like.

I'm not sure how to formulate my view - I do not like renderings that look "like the real thing" and cannot be separated from reality. In my renders I always try to make it clear it is a computer model visualization. A very nice visualization, of course, but still a visualization. I am an architects and I want to be clearly distinguishable what the existing is and what is designed by me. Photo realistic visualizations, indistinguishable from reality, belong to Hollywood.

So, the new picture is a raw computer visualization, while the previous one floated in the air, had deepness, one could "feel" the garage door was farther than the fence wall. New one just pops in front of you.

If you didn't understand anything, it's definitely not your fault!

Kliment, you have a good point there. I use maxwell too but only as a hobby for now or in CG work. Once I try it on my commercial project and my client had a great problem understanding that I'm showing him my design and not some foto taken from the magazine. Ultra-realism which MR offers sometimes can cause as much admiration as confusion.

Peter,

The first one had a nice warm climate - you should follow that approach, second is just too flat. Nice design BTW. Keep posting, I'm curious.

Cheers
