Photo Rendering Dialog box not opening

Anonymous
Not applicable
When I click on the photo rendering dialog box on the top tool bar, it highlights itself, like it's turned on, but the dialog box is not opening. I've had this issue before.

Any tips?

Have you used this computer with an external monitor or with larger screen resolution? In such cases if the Palette was moved to that larger area it will not be visible when you return to the smaller resolution or don't have external monitor attached.

You may also try to apply the Standard Work Environment Profile to see if that returns your Palette to the screen.

MiseDesign:

It could be hidden or off screen. Try Work Environments > Workspace Schemes > Standard Workspace 19 to reset the location.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Hi All,

This is a known issue set to fixed in a future update and/or release:

To fix it in a more precise manner :
1. Quit ARCHICAD
2. Press the Windows key on your keyboard to initiate a search
3. Type "regedit.exe" and double-click the Registry Editor or RegEdit icon when it appears.
4. In the Registry Editor window that appears navigate in the tree structure on the left to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > GRAPHISOFT > ArchiCAD-64 > ArchiCAD-64 XXXX YYY R1 > Dialog Manager Custom Data
(Where XXXX YYY is the version number and language you are using.)

5. Find "RenderingSettingsPaletteRect"; click on it to highlight it and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
6. Close the Registry Editor window
7. Launch ARCHICAD and activate the PhotoRendering Settings palette.

I hope this helps.
