Seamless Textures for my images

Is there any book, video, program and/or website that can help me do seamless textures?

Better yet, has anyone found an easy way to do this that they can share?

There are dedicated software for making seamless textures, look here:

If you are using Photoshop than you might be interested in those plug-ins. You can make textures tileable with one click, it's quick and dirty but can save lot of time.

..or you can always go for some professional, multilayered textures:

Last week, someone mentioned this other app:
http://www.luxology.com/whatismodo/imageSynth.aspx

but I can't find the posts using forum search...

Without plugins, the tedious process in Photoshop involves using the Offset filter and the clone, healing and other brushes and more...
