I thought it would be a fun idea to show some renderings of homes you've designed in Archicad, kind of like a little portfolio or show and tell.

So I'll start with a few:

Hi,

some of my old and new renderings all projects modelled in Archicad and rendered with 3ds Max and Vray

Some old one:

a showroom made in 2005

a little house made in 2005 too

a big and a small Office biulding from the last year unfortunately stopped by the financial crisis

some new one from this year

and this two modelled by one of my work mates and rendered by me

not a house but something I fiddled with over a glass of wine...I need to make a boat rack or buy a ridiculously expensive trailer..

I assume archicad > cinema 4D > vray?
Nice touch with the guy in the reflection (is that a virtual you?)

Thanks Amonle.
99% of the time I model in AC but I actually modeled this in Cinema 4D.
The background image was taken in New Zealand and the guy is a billboard which came with Piranesi 4.

Cheers.

Cian. How was your experience of modeling in C4D vs AC? Specially managing different floors?

Sightline.
It's fine for something like the model above where I used an image as a reference but I would not recommend using it for every day stuff.

.dwg does not import properly into Cinema and you cann't page up or down like you can with AC when working with more than one floor.
Cinema isn't designed for this purpose and Maxon know this.

AC is great for modeling the the majority of the project quickly and Cinema is great for finishing it off with the more complex and organic modeling tools.
