You could try the following sites for some ideas of what textured glass could look like, however it is probably easiest to jump into photoshop.

You may try some of the 'better' glass studios, most list their samples on the web as jpeg's and or gif's - a little small but it's a start. There are also sites for graphic designers with a lot of free textures.
