materials texture placement

is there a way to place the texture in a certain point......the texture map ive got is exactly the size of the wall ive made and im trying to place it on there but it is coming up half half like its tiled......i just want the single image on the wall

check out how to in 3dmode use function "Align 3d texture". There you will find your answer. Begin there, and then ask questions if there are something you don't understand. I think it's too much to describe here because there is alot of parameters to have in mind, rotate, oringins and so on.

2. Try
3. Ask questions
