i guys can anyone give me tips how to make an elevation presentation with a picture in the back ground or any other ideas thanks

How about using the drawing tool or the figure tool to insert a picture into the elevation or section. You can resize it to suit, then send it to the back so the picture appears behind the drawing.

You will need to have the elevation set to use 'Own Material Colours' for the uncut surfaces otherwise it will be transparent. You could get around this by either creating a hole in the picture the same shape as the building, or use a building shaped white fill placed in between the building and the picture.

It also might be best to create a new elevation for this, so it doesn't appear on any other drawings accidently.

Render the scene with a transparent background. Then add the background image to your rendering file in photoshop. Use layers on photoshop so that you can easily update your elevation rendering if necessary. If you mean line drawings rather than rendering then export your drawing as an image then edit in photoshop.
