surface painter slow

Does anyone use Surface Painter.  I am a heavy user since it came out and it has always been slow and choppy but it seems to be getting worse.  I just bought a brand new Macbook with Apple M5 Pro last week, ans the Surface Painter tool is still unbelievable choppy.  I'm sitting and waiting between operations for the app to catch up to my clicks.  These are small residential models....  Graphisoft, HELP!

Yep, the Surface Painter is super slow for me, too. It's a shame! Would like to use it more often, but whenever it is open the whole Archicad becomes more or less unusable. Using it also comes with a big delay, so I nearly always end up with painting the wrong surface.

I agree with @runxel 

 For a strange reason even when painter is open Archicad becomes laggy.Ig is like resources are used for painter tobe active.We are int era of GPU hardware acceleration and Archicad stiil is not using the GPU.
