Join us at the next Workflow Webinar on April 10th, where our guest, Jon Anderson of Hive Engineering will dive into his 26-year expertise in structural engineering and Archicad. Discover benefits, collaboration strategies, and future trends in engineering design and automation. This webinar is ideal for engineers, architects, and industry professionals seeking insights from Australia's engineering sector.
Jon Anderson has significantly impacted both commercial and residential design in structural engineering. As the director of Hive Engineering, he has led his team in adopting Archicad and enhancing project documentation. His focus on BIM and IFC innovation has made project delivery efficiency and precision.
The webinar will cover Archicad's application in structural engineering through a five-part presentation that includes:

Hello,
I'm so pleased to find structural sessions are coming on the table as I really want to know how the user is using Archicad as a structural modeling software and how can collaborate with other structural software like Revit, Tekla or Allplan specially when I can't find a video for a collaborative work between Archicad & Tekla in the last 10 years while the two programs are evolving, while nothing can be found for Archicad & Allplan, so actually this is an important webinar.
Is there a recording of this webinar?
Hi @Mohammed Marwan ,
The recording will be available shortly in this page. Please check back on April 16 (CEST).
Cheers!

@Rubia Torres, Are you sure, the next day not days (with s) 🤒 ?
Seems there are no time stamps to comments here.
Rubia only posted about 2 hours ago (about 9.30am Hungary time 15/04/2024), so give it 24 hours and see what turns up.
Barry.
Hi @Mahmoud Qenawi ,
I edited my previous comment to be clearer. The recording is already available.
Cheers!

Wow 👏 , it’s Done and I’m watching now thanks @Rubia Torres, perfectly done.
That was an excellent lecture. Architects and structural engineers make a great team - they need to work closely together. It's great to see best engineering practice case studies shared! Thanks Jon, thanks GS.
Thanks Gordana, Rubia and Nathan for bringing us these excellent webinar series, especially this one by Jon is fantastic and I'm sure he still has more & more to tell us, so if another episode with him is coming soon I won't be surprised.
I've few questions for him like :
* Why did he choose Archicad not Revit or Tekla for structural workflow despite those are evolving fast as a structural software compared to Archicad?
**How could he enhance the modeling workflow inside Archicad over the past years?
***Will he stay using 24 and not upgrading to 27? And how will he transfer his library to 27?
****Won't he give us a deeper knowledge about structural loads (sorts, effects & results) and about the most compatible structural analysis software he uses?
*****Regarding Structural (Modeling, Collaborating, Documenting & Quantifying) will we see soon an interactive & paid course covering all these areas inside Learn hub?
