Editing log details doesn't work with circular walls. I think it should work. It is essential for fast presentation of exterior/interior circular façade claddings.

You do,t need it.
Wood logs is straight by natural ( biologic ) cause .
If you need you can use Profile Walls to make circular log walls . Draw your log wall in section and convert to profiled wall . Is better than default archicad log walls ( you can define overlaped logs in section , different textures on skin ...etc )
