'autogroup' option during multiply operations

i hope this one speaks for itself . . .

when multiplying elements, please can we have an option to automatically group all of the new elements created so that they...

(i) are grouped with the original element
(ii) maintain grouping hierarchy if original 'element' is a group of elements.

This is one of my old favorites.

It is obvious, it is essential.

As is customary in threads about old, obvious, essential wishes, the workaround: With the original still selected, Undo/redo, group.
