When you duplicate a building material, the duplicate is selected in the list but if you change the name the original gets changed.
This is illogical and gives a lot of trouble if you don't notice it.
Its the same for many items. Graphic Override Rules is another that bites me more often than I care to admit.
1000 times over, THIS. It's currently such a backwards implementation and leads to much frustration.
In which version and which Dialog does this happen? I just tried duplicating and renaming Building Materials in both the Building Materials Dialog and the Attribute Manager, and works for me in both places in AC29 INT.
Can you provide step-by-step instructions?
@Laszlo Nagy Apparently this is solved in AC29. I'm working in older versions a lot and didn't notice it's not happening in AC29 anymore.
