Even for minor/simple MEP modeling this solution is an unreliable
half-baked implementation and absolutely incomplete feature with no
clear explanation of how to reasonably transition and no backwards

I'm seeing this in both Archicad 26 and 27. Lazlo N. (community admin)
mentioned that for roof and beam elements to cut properly they must be
connect + merged with the roof element. See this post:

Wishing that were the true in my case. The video above is of a freshly
installed AC 27 using the included GRAPHISOFT template file. Have made
no customizations or changes to the file, view settings, section
settings, etc. Still having the same issue ...
