In all fairness its all on Blender's side to make a move in this direction. Archicad has plenty of file formats to offer for a direct link, while Blender has no way to direct link it's scenes to any other design software. Having that said, Blender is quite capable and I'd be very glad to see a live link.
It would be really nice to be able to export easily in Blender. However, with a Datasmith file, you can use Unreal... even if it is more complex and then it is always Epic Games that makes the plugin for Archicad and in fact, there isn't one yet for Archicad 28. For me, even supporting the cost of C4D is not feasible and that's why I learned Unreal and I'm also using Blender... and I hope sooner or later those at Graphisoft will implement rendering and make it simple within Archicad.
I tried out the AI in Archicad 29 to generate some renders. Let's just say it tends to do its own thing... meaning I have to settle for *its* creativity, which isn't really what I want. Also, it seems like the AI—which operates on the 3D image currently on my screen—doesn't actually process the 3D model itself; instead, it treats the image as two-dimensional, reading the pixels just like any other AI. Honestly, the renders look good, but they aren't the ones I was aiming for. It’s fine for now if you just want to visualize architecture starting from a simple cube, provided you're willing to accept someone else's creative choices. It will certainly evolve and improve, but I would have preferred easier tools for traditional mapping and rendering within Archicad. If I want AI, I can just spend 22 euros on ChatGPT (or similar) and get much higher-quality renders than with Archicad's AI—which, if I'm not mistaken, runs on the "Stable Diffusion" engineSo for me, if there was the option to export to Blender, it would be fantastic. Also because Blender is evolving and there's an add-on called "Bonsai" that turns Blender into a BIM program... I'm trying it out and it's really very interesting.
