Custom "Show on Stories" Settings for all tools

JokeSwinnen

Many Archicad tools already support custom "Show on Stories"  for Floor Plan Display settings, but this functionality is still missing for some tools, including Beams.

For example, beams are often used not only for structural elements but also for architectural details such as roof edge profiles that should be visible on stories above or below their actual location. Currently, this often requires additional 2D drafting workarounds.

Adding custom "Show on Stories" settings to Beams would provide more flexibility, reduce 2D documentation work, and improve model-based floor plan representation across multiple stories.

There is an item on the Roadmap for this in regards to Walls. It used to be a more generic listing for consistency of this setting across different tools... Might have changed when they added the All Relevant Stories option to Slabs.

Ideally, each object will be able to specify which stories it appears on, in detail, with different appearance controls depending on story (above home story =one line style & pen, below home story= different line style and pen) - this should be able to override any built-in per story settings.  An outline only option should also apply for display above and below home story, even for GDL objects not scripted for that.
