New wall at demolished opening

Wouldn't it make sense for Archicad to automatically infill a wall at a demolished opening with a NEW wall, so instead of showing it on new/proposed plans as existing wall (in our office, white), it would show a new wall (in our office, poché)? It's not like you take out a door and there's just more wall underneath it, as in CAD space...

I think maybe your filter is not set up properly.

Seems to be working fine for me.

If you agree with this then I will close the wish.

If not, can you show your settings.

Barry.

@Barry Kelly, I think maybe I didn't communicate this clearly enough. The existing door and to be demolished door are showing up correctly. When I look at the proposed wall where the door was, there is no way of knowing that there is new work happening there (infilling the hole where the door was with more wall). It just looks like a regular existing wall in the proposed plans. Does that make sense?

See my image.

That is an existing wall with 3 doors.

One is existing, the middle one is to be demolished ant the last one is a new door.

My 'new construction' filter shows the existing, hides the demolished and overrides the new.

So I am automatically seeing the new wall in the demolished opening.

That seems to me what you want to show?

Barry.
