Partial structure display - possibility to set "default" elements

I often fight with these situations in which I set Partial structure display to show core of the composite/profile elements to be able show part of the building but often get elements that are single building material such as roofs, walls, slabs etc that are then hard to hide.

As you can see selected elements on the screenshot such as roof which creates sloping part of the roof terrace or a beam which is a plaster that I was not able to correctly connect walls from two stories.

Similar to a wish to being able to set PSD for stair's risers/treads (already on roadmap), it should be ale possible to set PSD for these single building material elements.

I'm thinking for two ways how it could be possible
1. Option to set in element 
2. Option to set in building materials (some materials are alway surface/others/core 💁‍♂️)

It coudl probably be both in a way that the second is primary and the first is possibility for user to override this. This being set, it would also require to adapt composite/complex profiles behaviour.

I am not taking away from your wish.

Basic (simple) elements should also be able to be set as core, finish, other.

I don't have Archicad with me at the moment, but I am pretty sure you can create a composite with a single skin and set that to structure display that you want.

Yes, I'm aware of that but that leads to creating another item in attributes (composites/comples profile) although it is more easy to manage with folders and search bar (thanks for that Archicad 26 🙏)

But what you are saying is more of a workaround for me. Does not matter if it is a wall/slab (composite) or a beam/column (complex profile). Creating a new attribute for this is just a way to make the project messy (mostly in large projects with multiple people working on it). If it is a single .pln file, OK, but since there is still no central attribute management for multiple files, this is just pain for office BIM coordinators/BIM managers.
